Now that I have turned in my quilt and the judging is taking place, the excitement is building for Quiltfest on the 25th, 26th and 27th. It is so much fun to see all the lovely quilts and people I haven't seen in a long time. And the vendors! It is shop, shop, shop, and shop some more. So much fabric, books and tools! ]
QuiltFest is the largest quilt show in the Southeast US/Northeast Florida. It is put on each year by the seven guilds in Jacksonville, FL. If you want to learn more go to their website: http://www.quiltfestjax.com/. Planning for the next year will begin in October.
If I don't see you this year, maybe I will next. And remember if you have made a quilt, you can enter it in the show. All levels are accepted, everyone just loves looking at all of the quilts and seeing what everyone else is doing. There is even a children's category! If you have entered a quilt, good luck and to all: enjoy the show!
